Accountancy

Secure, compliant IT support for accountants.

You hold sensitive client financial data under a professional duty of confidentiality. We secure it, document it and keep you audit-ready: Cyber Essentials, UK GDPR and your ICO obligations covered, then add AI where it safely earns its place.

Where practices like yours get exposed

Spreadsheet sprawl

Client data scattered across local drives and unmanaged spreadsheets, with no version control or backup.

Ungoverned AI in tax work

Staff pasting client figures into public AI tools, with no governance and no audit trail.

Undocumented access

Former staff and third parties retaining access, breaching the zero-trust controls auditors now expect.

Compliance, covered

The standards that actually apply to you

For a UK practice that means Cyber Essentials, UK GDPR and mandatory ICO breach reporting, underpinned by the confidentiality and competence duties your professional body sets. We map them to your systems, harden access and put the monitoring and documentation in place to meet them.

How we work

Our four-step approach

01

Discovery & topology mapping

We map your data, systems and shadow IT before anything is deployed.

02

Governance & zero-trust alignment

We control access and meet your compliance standards first.

03

Orchestrated deployment

We roll out automation and AI into specific, high-value workflows.

04

Continuous optimisation

We monitor, refine and threat-hunt so the system keeps performing.

Common questions

Do we need Cyber Essentials?

Increasingly, yes. Clients, insurers and tenders now ask for it, and it is the security baseline the ICO expects you to meet. We get you certified, and keep you certified.

Will you rip out our existing systems?

Only where it reduces real risk or cost. We secure what you have first, then modernise deliberately.

Can the work be grant-funded?

Where AI or automation is involved you may qualify for the DTFF grant. We will tell you honestly whether you do.

Does DORA or other EU regulation apply to us?

Only if you serve EU-regulated financial clients, or sit in their ICT supply chain, then those obligations can cascade to you. Most UK practices are out of scope, and we will tell you straight where you stand.
