Manufacturing
Secure, certified IT support for manufacturers.
More NI manufacturers are being pulled into defence and government supply chains, where winning and keeping contracts now depends on proving your cyber security. We get you certified, secure the systems that keep the floor running, and use grant funding to modernise where it pays back.
Where manufacturers like you get exposed
Certification gates your contracts
Primes and government buyers now require Cyber Essentials before you can bid. Miss the controls and you drop out of the supply chain.
Legacy systems fail the controls
Unpatched, end-of-life ERP and production kit no longer pass certification, and the 2026 Cyber Essentials update closed that gap further.
Unprotected OT and IoT
Connected machines and sensors sharing one flat, unsegmented network: exactly what a supply-chain security assessment flags.
The requirement
Cyber security is now the price of the contract
If you supply defence or government, primes increasingly require Cyber Essentials before you can bid and check your security through registers like JOSCAR. The Defence Cyber Certification scheme now makes Cyber Essentials the baseline for MOD suppliers, and the 2026 update raised the bar again. We get you certified, secure the OT and legacy systems that assessments flag, and keep the evidence current.
How we work
Our four-step approach
Discovery & topology mapping
We map your data, systems and shadow IT before anything is deployed.
Governance & zero-trust alignment
We control access and meet your compliance standards first.
Orchestrated deployment
We roll out automation and AI into specific, high-value workflows.
Continuous optimisation
We monitor, refine and threat-hunt so the system keeps performing.
Common questions
Do we really need Cyber Essentials to keep our contracts?
Increasingly, yes. Primes and government buyers ask for it before you bid, and the Defence Cyber Certification scheme makes it the MOD baseline. We get you certified, and keep you certified.
Can you secure our older machines and OT?
Yes. We segment and monitor legacy OT so it cannot become an entry point, which is also what supply-chain assessments expect to see.
Can grant funding cover the work?
Often. Where your upgrade involves automation, IoT or data, NI SMEs can claim up to £20,000 through the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund. We will tell you honestly whether you qualify.
